Author of “The Rescuer”: One Firefighter’s Story of Courage, Darkness, and the Relentless Love That Saved Him
Jason Sautel Started his career in the fire service as a volunteer firefighter with RivCo Fire/CDF in 1993. Shortly thereafter he became a paramedic with Alameda County EMS assigned to an ambulance in Oakland CA and ultimately ended up as a firefighter for the Oakland Fire Department. His career was cut short by an injury but instead of fading away into the corporate world, he now spends his time advocating for current and future firefighters through his platform as a speaker and best-selling author.
